Let’s Eat! legal
Terms of Service
Last updated July 9, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using the Let’s Eat! app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Let’s Eat! helps you find recipes from ingredients you have on hand. You can pick up to five ingredients, save a pantry, share it with your household, favorite recipes, and see suggested ingredient swaps. Recipe availability and details can change or be incomplete, so please use your own judgment around food safety, allergies, and dietary needs.
2. Accounts and households
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. A household owner controls who is a member. When you share pantry items with a household, active members can see the combined list, but each member stays responsible for their own pantry. Household access does not transfer ownership of anyone else's personal data.
3. Recipe content and attribution
Recipe data, images, source links, and nutrition information are supplied by Spoonacular and other third-party sources. Let’s Eat! does not create this content and does not claim ownership of it. Recipes remain the property of their original authors and providers, and we show source and provider attribution where it is available so you can view the original recipe.
To keep the app fast, provider results may be cached briefly, generally for up to one hour. Cached details can differ from the latest version on the provider's own site. You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute recipe content obtained through the Let’s Eat! app.
4. Nutrition and allergen information
Nutrition figures, ingredient lists, and substitution ideas are provided for general information only. They are not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and they may be estimated or incomplete. Do not rely on Let’s Eat! to determine whether a recipe is safe for an allergy or health condition. Always read product labels and confirm ingredients yourself, and check with a qualified professional for medical or dietary questions.
5. Free access and subscriptions
- New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access. No card is required to start it, and it is tracked on our servers.
- Let’s Eat! Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Billing is handled by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play, using the payment method on your store account.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.
- The price, billing period, and trial terms shown by your store at checkout apply to your purchase.
- Deleting your Let’s Eat! data does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Cancel through the store to stop future charges.
6. Acceptable use
Please use Let’s Eat! lawfully and fairly. Do not misuse the app, try to gain unauthorized access, scrape or bulk-download recipe data, upload harmful or unlawful material, interfere with other users, or disrupt the systems that run the service.
7. Account deletion and recovery
You can request account deletion in the app. We place the account in a 30-day recovery window before permanent deletion, so you can change your mind. After that window your personal data is removed or de-identified, except for limited records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, payment history, or legal reasons.
8. Disclaimers and changes
Let’s Eat! and its third-party content are provided on an as-is basis. We do not warrant that recipe, nutrition, or substitution information is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular need. We may update these terms as the app changes, and we will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use Let’s Eat! after an update means you accept the revised terms.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@letseatmealsmadeeasy.com or through the in-app support page. Legal requests are routed to the appropriate contact.
